Step 1: Poshmark makes buying very simple and secure. See an item you like and want to buy? Tap the ‘Buy Now’ button on the listing. If you see an item within your Feed, click the blue ‘View details and buy’ link on the bottom right-hand corner of the listing to get to the blue ‘Buy Now’ button.
Step 2: Enter your credit card, your shipping, and your billing information. We always require a credit card to purchase an item on Poshmark. Rest assured that we will not charge anything to your card in the event that the total price of the item (after taxes and shipping) is covered by your current balance and any credits you may have in your account.
Step 3: Carefully review your order information. If all looks good, submit your order.
Please refrain from paying or buying outside of Poshmark through PayPal or other offline means, as we cannot protect you if the item you purchase is damaged, lost, or misrepresented. You may also be banned from the Poshmark community.
We understand safety and trust are important to you. Poshmark’s Buy Safe Guarantee protects you so you can shop with confidence.
When you purchase on Poshmark, we keep your payment safe until you tell us that you’ve received your order. Only after you’ve marked your item as ‘received’ do we release your payment to the seller.
DO:
- Check your purchase promptly (within 3 days) to make sure your new item was accurately described in the listing.
- Mark your item as ‘received’ in the app if everything is a-okay.
- Contact us immediately if there is a problem with your order.
DON’T:
- Delay checking your item past 3 days.
- Mark your item as received if there is a problem with your order.
- Try to resolve any problems with your order yourself. Contact us first. We’re here to help.
Remember, if the item you received is not as it was described in the listing, then you are covered under our Buy Safe Guarantee.
Trades & Offline Transactions (i.e. PayPal)
Poshmark does not currently support trades or offline transactions. When money is not exchanged through the Poshmark system, we cannot guarantee that both parties ship and transact as promised. Therefore, we discourage users from participating in trades and offline transactions as they are not protected by our Buy Safe Guarantee.
